The scalable client/server architecture of the FORESEER System is the foundation of its flexibility. Its multi-tiered software and hardware options build on that flexibility, providing appropriate solutions for a wide range of situations – from one location with thousands of data inputs, to a distributed enterprise with hundreds of remote sites all monitored from a central operations center.

Extensive, multi-vendor device-driven library interfaces with most major manufacturers of power and environmental equipment, as well as subsystems such as fire, security, fuel, and building controls. The client software provides a “virtual enterprise” view into all sites equipped with a FORESEER server, making available all data gathered at remote sites. Plus, with network dial-up and web access, a real-time view into mission critical operation is available anytime, anywhere.


The FORESEER System offers the most advanced alarm management capabilities available. Employing a familiar traffic signal color scheme, the system reveals problems and their level of severity at a glance. Green indicates a normal condition, yellow indicates a cautionary condition, and red indicates a critical alarm.

Monitored points can be assigned up to four alarm thresholds with specific instruction for each condition and a predetermined escalation procedure. The system provides smart alphanumeric paging, e-mail and ASCII output with predetermined call escalation lists, sorting, filtering, and broadcasting. Alarm messages with operator instructions can be automatically sent to a network management system for management of events for both IGT and facilities on a single platform.

The FORESEER System delivers accurate and complete information, empowering you to manage your power and environmental system proactively instead of reactively. Providing up to three years of online data and, an array of performance analysis tools. The system ensures that you have the information you need to make informed decisions on repairs, upgrades, expansions, preemptive correction actions, and more. Its online statistical and proactive data analysis tools allow you to perform cause analysis, impact analysis, capacity planning, preventive maintenance assessments, and trending, giving you a window into equipment performance.

The FORESEER System provides easy-to-access reports on diagnostics, system configuration, and extensive reports for daily, weekly, and monthly alarms. Each report is time-stamped and can be sorted by device, alarm point, date, and time. Alarm reports also include time of user acknowledgement and time of return to normal. In addition, the FORESEER System integrates seamlessly with Crystal Reports, which allows you to mine and professionally display collected data in the database in standard Crystal formats.

Load Balancing

A major contributor to harmonic distortion is improper load balancing. FORESEER is able to track load levels by phase, so a user can see or be instantly notified when extreme imbalances begin to occur, giving users the knowledge to take the steps necessary to re-distribute the load before a catastrophic problem can occur. FORESEER visually illustrates the load balance on a device or system in a real time while showing what the balanced model should be. You see the current state, the worst case scenario and the proper load.

Electrical Capacity Planning

Planning electrical usage and demand is difficult at best. As site loads increase and usage patterns change, demand on a particular device may grow beyond its intended capacity. And while average demand may not be a concern, peak demand is of the utmost importance. Even a momentary spike over the rated capacity could bring down an entire network. FORESEER not only tracks the kW and kVA over time, but immediately informs the user of peak levels and can project future demands based on past usage, for periods as long as years or as immediate as minutes. This knowledge is invaluable in planning for electrical upgrades and/or changes to the power train to support changing load patterns. Simply put, FORESEER makes understanding power capacity and power density an easy process.
