Emergency Lighting Inverters are the answer to uninterrupted emergency power for numerous building systems that protect health, safety, security, as well as centralized lighting applications. Controlled Power's double conversion, solid state technology isolate critical loads from all utility power disturbances, including brownouts and complete power outages. The Emergency Lighting Inverters support loads continuously rather than relying on a "fast transfer" design that requires turning on system quick enough during a power outage to possible keep the critical loads up and running. All of Controlled Power Company's emergency lighting inverters are listed to UL924/UL924a standards and are also NFPA 101 compliant. See below for a list of Emergency Lighting Inverters.


eLITE Model ELN (550W to 1.5kW)

Meeting the NFPA 101 and NFPA 111 standards, the "ELN" is considered "Life Safety Equipment". The "ELN" is also UL 924 listed, providing the required 90 minutes of emergency backup power, and is 100% compatible with all lighting applications and building security systems. This unit provides uninterrupted, regulated, continuous sinewave output for use with "normally on" lighting fixtures and exit lamps, as well as standby output for use with "normally off" emergency lighting fixtures. It is also generator-compatible. With a front-access design and a small footprint, the "ELN" is suited for wall- or floor-mounted installations. Available in 550W to 1500W single phase sizes, the "ELN" is ideal for schools, athletic fields, shopping centers, parking structures, churches, restaurants, theaters, hotels, and many other similar applications.

The Model ELC’s compact front access design features one of the smallest cabinet footprints in the industry!Meeting the NFPA 101 and NFPA 111 standards, the Model ELC is considered "Life Safety Equipment". It is also UL 924 listed as "Emergency Lighting Equipment", providing the required 90 minutes of emergency backup power, and is 100% compatible with all lighting applications and life safety systems. The Model ELC provides uninterrupted, regulated, continuous sinewave output for use with "normally on" lighting fixtures and exit lamps, as well as standby output for use with "normally off" emergency lighting fixtures. It is also generator-compatible. The Model ELC’s voltage regulation and performance characteristics make it an advantageous choice over competing lighting inverters.

The "UltraLITE" is also UL 924 listed, providing the required 90 minutes of emergency backup power, and is 100% compatible with all lighting applications and building security systems. This unit provides uninterrupted, regulated, continuous sinewave output for use with "normally on" lighting fixtures and exit lamps, as well as standby output for use with "normally off" emergency lighting fixtures. It is also generator-compatible. The "UltraLITE's" voltage regulation and performance characteristics make it an advantageous choice over competing lighting inverters. Available in 1.5kW to 10kW single phase sizes, the "UltraLITE" is ideal for schools, arenas, subways, parking structures, hospitals, airport terminals, and many other similar applications.

eLITE Model ELE (2.0kW-18kW)

The eLITE model ELE is a modular, no-break, front access, single phase centralized emergency lighting inverter that provides conditioned and regulated power to normally on and normally off fixtures. The eLITE Model ELE is listed to UL924/UL924a/UL1778 standards. The eLITE Model ELE is also compliant to NFPA 101 and NFPA 111 requirements for for testing of emergency lighting inverter systems.

SuiteLITE (300W to 600W)

MRI suites use DC power instead of AC power because EMI produced by AC lighting affects image quality and equipment performance. The SuiteLITE is an AC to DC converter that takes normal AC power and converts it to DC power compatible with MRI suite lighting. The SuiteLITE features a manual dimmer to adjust intensity control, closed loop voltage regulation to within +/-2% to assure consistent intensity, as well as an isolation transformer to prevent high frequency noise from interfering with MRI equipment. An optional "In Suite" electronic dimmer control allows personnel to adjust intensity from within the MRI suite without interference to MRI equipment.

SwitchLITE Model EZT

The SwitchLITE Model EZT, a UL 1008 listed Automatic Transfer Switch for Emergency Lighting Applications, allows dimmable lighting fixtures to function as essential emergency lighting. The Model EZT (Emergency Zone Transfer Cabinet) is designed to automatically transfer up to eight (8) branch circuits to emergency power when normal power fails, and then back to normal power once it has been restored. Upon transfer to emergency power, lighting fixtures that are dimmed or off are brought to full illumination to provide safe egress.

The Model EZT accommodates 4, 6 or 8 individual 20 amp branch circuits, and is ideal for use in a dimmer rack application

Meeting stringent design and performance specifications, the self-diagnostic, self-testing EON Model EL3 centralized emergency lighting inverter is UL 924 listed as “Emergency Lighting Equipment” and “Auxiliary Lighting and Power Equipment”, as well as NFPA compliant as “Life Safety Equipment”. The EON meets NFPA 101, NFPA 111, NEC and IBC requirements, and provides the industry’s most advanced life safety system testing available!

 

Key EON options include output distribution with either monitored or unmonitored circuit breakers, normally off bus for standby (normally off) emergency light fixtures, and remote communications via BACnet, Ethernet, MODBUS TCP, or MODBUS RS485.

Eaton - UL924 UPS (10kVA- 80kVA Three Phase)

Double-conversion online UPS with a minimum of 90 minutes of runtime at full load meeting the UL924 compliance standards. The Eaton UL924UPS resolves all utility power problems and supplies clean, continuous, uninterruptible power to connected equipment.
